I don't know the history behind the bicycle, but is would say that it had been submerged in salt water for quite some time! It was part of the display for a bicycle rental business.

What a beautiful and colorful place! I love your photos of it so much. :-) It reminds me of day trips my family and I would take to coastal towns in Washington State. :-)
