"I feel we are all islands - in a common sea." ~ Anne Morrow Lindbergh

A chilly day-trip to Anna Maria Island, only about 10-15 minutes from where we are staying.

  1. Feel like I'm there!
And the photos of the pelicans are especially fine – such textures!

  2. -chuckle- Look at those chilly looking fishermen!

Wow, was that old bike, left under water? And the ocean thought it was a coral reef????? Or does it look that way?

    1. I don't know the history behind the bicycle, but is would say that it had been submerged in salt water for quite some time! It was part of the display for a bicycle rental business.

  3. Thanks for that little get-away. I only wish I could have enjoyed your dinner, too! I'll bet walking on that boardwalk was cool. What a great day-trip!

  4. What a beautiful and colorful place! I love your photos of it so much. :-) It reminds me of day trips my family and I would take to coastal towns in Washington State. :-)
