The Little York Fall Fiber Arts Festival or the Wellfleet Oyster Fest???? Oh, the dilemma!! If only all of life's choices could be so wonderful! We will soon be headed once again to Cape Cod. When we went this same week in October of last year, I knew that I really wanted to go at the same time again this year. And so we are - same week, same house - I can't wait! Unfortunately, for the very first time, there will be a fiber festival in my own back yard while we are gone. So I will be slurping down oysters at the Wellfleet Oyster Fest rather than oohing and aahing over beautiful yarns.
If you happen to be in Central New York, please check out the Little York Fall Fiber Arts Festival (which will be benefitting the Cortland Repertory Theater). I know a few of the vendors who will be there, and it promises to be a wonderful experience in a beautiful setting, and at least at the moment, the weather forecast is nippy but nice.

Many thanks! I think that the Fiber Fets went well - so I am hopeful that it will be done again! So far - the Cape has been wonderful - a mix of sunshine and rain - such is life!
DeleteWhile you slurped oysters, trust that I felt enough fiber for the two of us! The vendors were all great, no two alike, and I truly hope it comes back next year. I can think of a few more local artists who would be a good fit as well. Great post Tracy!
