Having relied upon the generosity of friends for the past month, we are now settled into our summer rental. As much as we are grateful to those who put us up, it is nice to be in a spot of our own for the next three months. We are in the process of unpacking the few things that we have and and making it our home!
We continue our housing quest, with a lean toward building at this point. There are many questions to ask, and answers to gather, before this is a done deal however.

Having been caught up in the throes of buying and selling and packing and moving myself, I didn't realize what was happening to you. You're lucky to have friends to stay with and another home if necessary--but what a gigantic pain. We are currently on the road to our Michigan summer house, after selling our house and moving into our condo in Louisville. It has been a multi/stress experience and we didn't have your complications. You are smart to maintain such a great attitude, but I am sure you will be relieved to have it all settled.
