I happily have enough Christmas postcards of my grandparents to once again use them this December! I do love them!

I started out the Christmas holiday season with a joyous gathering at my home of our knitting group. Everyone brought something to eat, and of course, their knitting. We then sat together and watched It's A Wonderful Life.

Before we began our festivities however, I asked each person to put up a few ornaments on our tree. It is a little lonely doing it without children in the house any more. This was a stroke of genius on my part, and now I need to think of a party to have them come back and take the tree down with me in a few weeks!
