Part III - Mosaiculture - Montreal
And now - for the final installment of our trip to Montreal to see Mosaicultures Internationales at the Botanical Gardens. Once again - I have a ton of photos, but you won't need to do any reading this time. I can only imagine what this place looks like at the height of summer with blue skies and sunshine! For late September, with no sun and flat light, the blooms and colors were still magnificent! I actually tried to tone down the reds a little bit - they looked almost fluorescent!

Oh my! Viewing this post, is like sitting down to a huge Thanksgiving-type Dinner!!!! But instead of being full-to-the-brim, with food..... I am full-to-the-brim with beauty, beauty, beauty, beauty, beauty...
ReplyDeleteThank you.

You are welcome Tessa They are beautiful, aren't they! It is amazing what joy nature can bring to us.
DeleteWow, the colours are amazing!!! They pop right out of my screen! Brilliant!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite picture is the 6th picture up, it's fantastic!
The colors are so rich! I agree about the 6th picture up. The 4th one down is also a favorite of mine. I think that both have such wonderful autumn colors!

ReplyDeleteRE: Your comment in my blog.... Oh yes, I do love, love, love Autumn!!!!! I'm so happy I live with 4 Seasons. Not that I enjoy rainy Nov. or walking/driving in snow and ice.... But I still love it, that the Seasons change.
Even in rain and snow and ice, one can stay inside and enjoy looking out at them. And feel so cozy, inside. :-)
Tessa~
So inspiring photos! I love how you have captured each flower and plant! Thank you for an amazing post, Tracy!
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda! It's hard to go wrong with such beautiful subjects!
DeleteWhat a wide variety of flowers still blooming in Montreal! Would you know the name of the red flower with dark plum colored leaves, shown in each of two photos, just after the orange Nasturtiums? Those silver grasses are stunning!
ReplyDeleteI don't know the name of the flower, but it looked almost as though it was made with tissue paper. It was such a beautiful, place to visit!
DeleteA friend of mine told me I absolutely HAD to visit your blog to see this post today. :-) It is wonderful!! I recently visited a beautiful Japanese garden so my friend knew I would love this. Your photos are marvelous and oh so gorgeous. :-)
ReplyDeleteKrista, thank you so much for your kind comments! I took a swing by your site, and love the posts about your farming life in Australia! You have certainly lived a "rambling" and interesting life, and I look forward to following along. Many thanks for stopping by, and many thanks to your friend steering you in my direction!
