"Good friends are cheaper than therapy." ~ Author Unknown

Well, once again we had a small, merry band of knitters for World Wide Knit in Public Day.  The gray skies and chill in the air did not put a damper on our spirit, though I confess that I did more frogging than knitting - I should know to never start a new project when I will also be socializing with friends!

We had a lot of fun and a lot of laughs - lots of laughs!  We left the Homer Farmers' Market smelling of hot sausage sandwiches, which were bring prepared behind us for the afternoon's Blue Grass Festival.

Perhaps next year the sun will shine, and more of our knitting friends will be able to join us - we had a wonderful time regardless!

  1. I just know you had the best of time.
I so want to go to the farmer's market.
    Maybe I can go Saturday.

    1. I always enjoy a Farmer's Market, whether large or small. We have one near us in Ithaca, about 30 minutes away, which is an event unto itself - such fun!

  3. This looks like a lot of fun! And the two striped projects look great - I really like the colours! Would also love to see pictures of how you are getting on with your project!

... I just have UFOs at the moment :)

    1. Well Nancy - my project, a baby cardigan in a pattern that I've done half a dozen times, never got past the first few rows without having to rip it out and start over! I should never begin a project while socializing - it just doesn't work well for me!

    2. For me neither... we have a little spinning group here which meets once a moth and I never get something done there :)
