"In your Easter bonnet, with all the frills upon it, You'll be the grandest lady in the Easter Parade." ~ Irving Berlin

I don't know about the grandest lady, but I think that I'm the grandest little girl, sitting there in the middle with my bonnet, my white gloves, and (no doubt) my white patent leather shoes!  I have to say that my mom and sisters Alison and Robin look pretty grand too!

I don't know how old I am in this picture - old enough to have lost a tooth!  We were sitting on my grandparents' front porch - one of my happiest places to be.

Do little girls still get all decked out?

Happy Easter!

  2. Wow, look at Judy Garland's pink elbow length gloves! I don't know if even big girls get decked out for Easter like that any more - I know I don't. Did I tell you I recently watched the original movie version of "Harvey" starring Jimmy Stewart? Love the post T. - especially the part about your grandparents' porch. Happy Easter!
