I occasionally run into people I haven't seen in awhile who do not know that I am retired.  Always, I'm asked what I do with my time.  Well, pictured below is what has consumed the past two weeks!

15 quarts of tomato sauce (minus two in the picture because they have already been consumed)

340 bars of soap, enough to get us through the year, as well as friends and family!

It keeps me out of trouble!

I can hardly believe that I have lived the past two years as a retiree and as a blogger!  When I think back to that very first post, I was newly retired, and trying my hand at blogging for the first time.  I remember thinking - would I have anything to say that anyone would want to read?  Now, two years down the road, I have made blogging and reader friends near and far.  I have learned from them, exchanged snail-mail with them, laughed with them, and shed a few tears as well. My life is all the richer for it.  Thank you for following along on this journey with me, whether you are a reader, or a fellow blogger.  I don't know that I will always have something to share - and I trust that I will know when that time comes - but for now, I'm having too much fun!
