We finally made it to Wakodahatchee and Green Cay this season when family visited recently. Both wetlands never fail to be amazing! There was not as much alligator action as in the past, or as many turtles, but the water was quite low. However, iguanas were everywhere!

While it was warm and humid (only made worse by the intermittent rain), if I lived near enough, I'd begin each day walking through these wetlands.

  3. Your pictures are stunning. Many of my Michigan friends are or just were in Central America and there were birds all over my Facebook page.
